My family enjoyed our stay at the Twelve Centennial Hotel so much that we extended our stay even though the pool was not open all year, like it was advertised.Everything else was right at our finger tips. The staff were more than courteous and they took the time to remember who we were personally (quite impressive).
The pool was not open like advertised and we were not aware that the only parking you offered was valet parking. The Twelve Centennial valet staff was professional also but due to my past valet delimas in other cities, for years now, parking my own car is my preference.
I really enjoyed the security. Because I am a woman traveling for my job it is always important to me that I feel secure in the hotel. I loved that your room key was needed for the elevator and the floor you needed to get out on. I also found the staff super!!! It did not matter how busy they were they were polite and courteous! They were wonderful!
The sofa sleeper was terrible. No one could sleep on it because the mattress was so cheap and the springs literally were poking you if you laid on it). This really surprised me because the room itself was very "over the top" wonderful! Great furniture, granite counter tops, etc. I did mention it when I checked out and my hope is they will fix that issue (spoke with other friends staying in the hotel and they had the same issue). It would not stop me from coming back because everything else was so great.
I like the fact it was set up like an luxury apartment and offered all types of amenities that an apartment would have and it was a very clean room with a nice view of downtown.
The night we arrived the cable and the DVD player was not working so that was a huge inconvience. Also when we checked in, there was a hidden fee of $75 that I wasnt aware of and it was not on this site so that came as a suprise to me.
It was close to the Philips Arena, it was beautifully designed, and it was a steal. I love the fact that there is a kitchen in every room, and that rooms are actually suites, with a sofa area and then an actual separate bedroom.
They were overbooked so they had to change our initial reservation from two double beds to one king. Two of us had to sleep on the sofa-bed - which was not too bad.
I loved everything about this hotel. I think it is the best kept secret in Atlanta. They upgraded our room upon arrival and it was even more wonderful. The food and service was outstanding. I would highly recommend.
Very prompt and curteous staff, speedy check-in/out, hotle was spotless
Room Size, arrangements in teh hotel, dinner at the bar
all was as an excellent hotel should be
This is a beautiful hotel and a great place to stay with the Marta just outside the front entrance. The staff was most helpful.
It is not that I disliked anything, but I did miss a more formal lobby area.
Staff were excellent. Rooms were nice
The 300 hold they put in addition to your room rate for incidentals , and 27 dollar a day parking fee. Was quite a shock when room quote was 300 and charge was much more
The rooms were fabulous. The staff was excellent. Especially the dining area. We arrived in the evening and they waited on us like we were royalty although we were sista girls in town for a spiritual conference. Food was delicious and atmosphere was warm and inviting.
Great location, spacious suites, good gym.
Was told when I checked in that the pool was undergoing maintenance, but that it would be open in one or two days. When I left 6 days later, it had never opened.
Everything! The facilites are superb! I celebrated my birthday with 4 of my friends and they were so impressed of my Hotel choice. Everything was clean, the staff was professional and prompt, the food at the ROOM restaraunt was excellent, and the pull out bed was even comfortable. If there were emergencies or issues they were prompt in resolving it. Room service was reasonable and the view was great (we were on the 16th floor).
Everything was perfect!!
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff were wonderful. The rooms were very spacious and clean with an cool style. I loved that the room had a computer and the internet was free that was a huge plus in my book. Very convient to everything downtown and had a nice view from my balcony of the city.
There were three things that I did not like the most important one of all was that I told them I was bringing our dogs at time of reservation and not once was I told until I checked in that our pets could not be left in the room alone. How in the heck do expect to do anything or even enjoy a meal in the lobby hotel if you cannot leave your room. This was so upsetting that I cut my stay short and went home early cause I could not enjoy anything. You say you are pet friendly but if you are jailed to your room how is that pet friendly? The other was cost of parking if you stay in hotel it should be included when got there was hit with a parking fee and you had to valet you pay a steep price for your room and then to park your car. The only other minor issue was the pool was not heated and it was a bit chilly but the facilities were amazing would have loved to take a swim but too cold. Other than those issues the hotel was beautiful and would recommend it to others who are pet free.
We were in town with two 13 year old girls for a concert and Atlanta Braves game. This hotel was very convenient, courteous, clean and just an overall delight! The view is amazing, the staff friendly and helpful, very clean and very comfortable. We will be back without doubt!
Loved it ALL!
That there was a computer located in in the room.
Towels appeared to be limited. No chairs located on the balcony. The staff did not explain how the elevator worked. The gentleman working the night shift, talked as if they had no concern about what I was asking and acted as if I was bothering them. Honestly that was the biggest thing that put a bad taste in my mouth.
